A Colourful Collaboration for a Norwich Landmark!

Castle Quarter has always been a big part of Norwich, whether you knew it as Castle Mall, The Mall Norwich, or as it is now known - Castle Quarter. Opening originally in 1993 and then becoming Castle Quarter in 2019, it is a destination for shopping and entertainment in the heart of the city.

We were recently asked by the wonderful Pickle Illustration to assist with the printing of their new project at Castle Quarter. The illustrations celebrate the four elements of Castle Quarter – Shop, Dine, Watch and Play. There is also an illustration themed around Norfolk and Norwich on Level 1, with some very familiar local sights!

Once we received the print files from Pickle we began production, printing to Drytac FloorTac Plus with matching overlaminate, Drytac Interlam Pro Emerytex, which used in combination give an R11 slip rating and have a long term indoor lifespan. The print itself totalled a massive 235.33m2 and used 2.25 litres of ink, with an installation time of 4 days! 

We think you’ll agree that the results are stunning and a real reflection of the vibrance and fun of Castle Quarter.
